I’ve put actively trading on hold this week to focus a little more on my psychological aspects of trading. I’ve been reading Trading in the Zone, by Mark Douglas- a phenomenal piece of literature for any modern trader who’s perception of trading is out of sync with the markets. Although before reading I would suggest having a trading strategy that you are confident in to begin with, but have troubles sticking to.

The reality of the markets is such- a giant trap for those disciplined to siphon off funds from the newbies. I’m glad to say my journey to the disciplined gets closer by the day. My end goal- to be consistently profitable.

I believe I need to find more reward in following the discipline rather than the profits. Because chasing profits does not seem to get me anywhere. The profits will eventually come with long term discipline, and more importantly, will be sustainable.
